OU loses again. Trae Young is looking average. I see that Louisville will have to vacate their 2013 Nat'l Title and their 2012 Final Four appearance.

Ugly loss by the Longhorns last night to KSU, must beat Oklahoma State this weekend or else...stay home. I see that Marvin Bagley of Duke missed his 4th game last night, but the Dukies haven't missed him. They are 4-0 without him. He's a lock to be a top 5 NBA draft pick this year. I watched the 2nd half of the Xavier/ Georgetown game. Man it must take a lot of cloth to make a suit for Patrick Ewing! Xavier won. I keep seeing that Kansas is going to likely be a #1 seed. It's been an odd year for them, they've lost several home games but they also have a lot of the metrics that the committee uses including the new "Quadrant 1" wins. The loss last night by Texas Tech has them 1 game in the lead for their 14th B12 conf title in a row. They play Tech Sat in Lubbock so that's a huge game for both teams.
Hasn't been a lot of public discussion of the FBI investigation into college basketball beyond the initial release. But according to this article in the Louisville Courrier they have a lot of information NCAA has a blue ribbon committee that is supposed to have recommendations and policy changes ready soon and implemented soon as well. Still there might be a lot of pain out there for more than a few college programs. https://www.courier-journal.com/story/sports/college/louisville/2018/02/22/fbi-basketball-recruiting-agent-records-players-families-paid/362021002/
Yeah I gotta feeling this is going to be a headshot for the sport. We'll see if it survives at the collegiate level.
Here's the list and it is impressive: http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/22553502/fbi-probe-corruption-reveals-basketball-powers-broken-ncaa-rules
Well, let's see how this unfolds. This is pretty widespread. Sure could change the complexion of the tournament.
Buckeyes win a doozie at Indiana in double overtime with a trey and seconds remaining. C J Jackson hit all net from the top of the circle. Now if Wisconsin can upset MSU Sunday we can share the title. However, that's a big IF!
Well Sean Miller of Arizona is likely toast. I won't be surprised if Arizona fires him for cause tomorrow. They have other wiretaps...who's next in the barrell. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/22559284/sean-miller-arizona-christian-dawkins-discussed-payment-ensure-deandre-ayton-signing-according-fbi-investigation
I see the B1G commish admitted that it was a mistake to schedule the season to allow them to have the tourney in MSG. Said it won't happen again. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/22557830/big-ten-commissioner-jim-delany-regrets-decision-conference-tournament-week-earlier
I am surprised he admitted that fact. It was a bad decision and the player's conference-wide paid for it. A lot of tired bodies trying to win games with too little rest in the last couple weeks.
Longhorns didn't have much of a chance going to KU last night but Mo Bamba was a scratch and that meant no chance and KU wins it's 14th straight B12 title. That was in doubt just a few weeks ago, but the late season collapse by Texas Tech opened that door for them and they waltzed right in to take it.
Va. Tech also beat Duke on a last shot deal, I do think Duke did get the ball back with a couple of secs but not enough time to get off a shot in that Va.Tech game. That was on the road though, Miami beat them at Cameron Indoor Stadium a tough place for anybody to win. Cane's have a big man inside that really was the difference in the game vs ND at South Bend. Didn't get to see last nights game though. Alabama has really had an up and down season, like a lot of teams. OU lost again last night to Baylor they are 1-7 in Feb but people say they are not even on the bubble that their early season big wins are enough to keep them in the tourney.
Don...Rhody got wiped out...at home...They were supposed to be dark horse this year. Have to go back to mid 40s to see an upset like this here in the Mini State!
