I've been a fan of Holtman and was optimistic about this group. Young but with some talent and a mix of vets, Key and Battle but damn....they're wearing me out. My gut tells me that if we don't make the dance, leadership is likely to "go in a different direction."

Auburn/Alabama is a great game, Tide have the lead mid 2nd half...but Auburn isn't going away.

Big win in Tuscaloosa tonight over #8 Auburn for the Tide. It was an exciting game all the way to the end.

Heck of a battle in Baton Rouge between LSU and undefeated South Carolina.

Bayou Barbie hasn't taken off her jacket and thrown it on the court yet.

LSU hanging on to a slight lead and Angel Reese saddled with 4 fouls

South Carolina pulled it out to remain undefeated. They have so much talent and are really well coached. Heck of a game.

I watched part of the game. These two teams are in a class by themselves, especially in the paint. Bayou Barbie. Haha! I hadn't heard that monicker. Appropriate. I agree that SC is very well coached.

Bayou Bit##... is more like it.
Not a fan of that Italian soccer flopper of a coach.

Yeah, they are no longer top dog. There are a half dozen schools here who have the the cache of Texas. If you think “Horns Down” is bad, wait for “Rammer Jammer”.

There is a lot of parity this year in college basketball. Not a single "super" team.

I watched the Purdue-Northwestern game last night. NU is impressive under Doug Collins, who was ejected at the end of the OT. He went ballistic, and Purdue was awarded 4 FTs, but with 1.6 seconds left the game effectively was over with Purdue winning anyway. The Boilers had all they could handle with the team that handed them their first loss in Evanston and was neck and neck with them in the 2nd half. Although Braden Smith didn't have a good game by his standards, in the OT he was the catalyst for the Purdue rally. Edy was his usual dominant self despite heavy harassment by an aggressive Wildcat defense.

Sid, Isn't it Chris Collins, Doug's son?

Pretty amazing that Collins has been there for 10 years and has just barely over .500 record and has pretty much lived around the 10th best Big 10 team. At a lot of places he'd not have made it to 10 years.

Big win for the Gators at Kentucky.

Our BB program is looking better, now if football would do the same.

I stand corrected. I'm afraid my comments were based on incomplete thoughts (not unusual for me) influenced by his free throw shooting and seeing him throw a pass into the hands of a NU player at a crucial point late in the game. I need to pay more attention to the full scope of play. Can't believe I missed his assist total.

Terry, yes, he's Doug's son. Looks like his dad. Didn't realize he's been there 10 years. I guess time will tell if his program is trending upward or if this season is just a blip.
