    Comments after the game/incident

An Ohio State player and coaching personnel from both sides came over to tend to Clark. She was helped back to the locker room but told reporters she was doing OK after the hit.

"Now, obviously, I can see they’re storming the court which is totally fine and I mean, good for their students," Clark said, via the Dayton Daily News.

"Great win for them and I was just trying to exit the court as quickly as possible so I started running and I was absolutely just hammered by somebody trying to run onto the court and basically blindsided… kind of scary. Could have caused a serious injury to me and knocked the wind out of me. But luckily, my teammates kind of picked me up and got me off the court."

Clark added that Ohio State’s athletic director apologized to her.

"I’m sure they tried their best to do whatever they could," she said. "Obviously, it didn’t work and that’s disappointing but, you know, just focus now on the game and ways we can get better."

In sort of a little noticed event, Tara VanDerveer, broke Coach K's record for wins in College Basketball

STANFORD, Calif. -- Step aside Coach K, Stanford's Tara VanDerveer is the new winningest basketball coach in NCAA history.

The Stanford women's basketball team defeated Oregon State 65-56 at Maples Pavilion Sunday to give VanDerveer her 1,203rd career victory, passing former Duke men's coach Mike Krzyzewski, who had held the record since 2019.

    But will she hold it?

It remains to seen how long VanDerveer will hold the record. UConn women's coach Geno Auriemma, 69, the third-winningest NCAA basketball coach, trails her by seven wins (1,196). Whoever ends up with the record will likely come down to which of the two keeps coaching longer.

VanDerveer's 1,203rd career win sets NCAA mark

Definitely charge IMO. I saw that yesterday and the girl kept going. Never stopped to see what she had done.

Always sad that one individual could cause so much embarrassment to end a wonderful day, to what otherwise 18, 600 plus fans enjoyed. Thank goodness she was not injured.

Love CC and everything she does and the Buckeye girl was clearly in the wrong place, this view give us another perspective. Looks like CC gave as good as she got

Re: the text: In slow motion, you can change the facts to suit your argument. The girl didn't enter her line of sight until a millisecond before the collision. The arm extension is a reflex defensive move. Slow motion visually minimizes the true effect of the impact. Fortunately, Clark, while stunned, wasn't injured, likely a testament to her conditioning.

Truthfully I don't know how you keep fans from rushing the court, how many security people would you need to hold back the crowd in an arena for basketball or a stadium for football. Ohio State will be fined as have many football schools been fined by their conferences for field rushing. Tearing down goal posts is esp dangerous and there have been multiple kids/fans injured some severely.

Interesting look at this from this article. Kind of long and legalesey (yeah I know it's not a word).

I imagine if the penalty is that violator has to play its next game or games in an empty arena, that might solve the problem. Soccer federations have done that with teams with virulent crowd behavior with some success.

Longhorns go to Norman and get a much needed win vs #11 OU.

#6 Kentucky loses on the road to South Carolina.

Stu's Boilermakers rolled big time over Michigan in West Lafayette. What has happened at Michigan? Juwan Howard came in and was killing it in recruiting, now they are last in the Big 10?

#4 Houston went to Provo last night and got a good win over a ranked BYU squad that is tough at home. I watched this game and it was a game of runs, Houston wore them down in the end. I am not sure I've seen a team that shoots the 3's as much as BYU, they shot almost 40 3's. The ultimate difference was that with that 3 point shooting you don't get to the line as much and Houston much more agressive going to the hoop got to the line 24 times vs BYU's 10.
