Firing as some had suggested would have been to harsh.

Personally I would agree though that a suspension for the rest of the season, including tournaments would have been the right action.

Hawkeyes really laid one on MSU last night. Both Michigan teams seem to be reeling at the moment. Izzo almost seems to be at the breaking point in closeups?

MSU has now lost 3 in a row, that will wear on a coach like Izzo. They were in the battle for the Big 10 Championship and now they are back to the middle of the pack.

Minnesota gave Wisconsin a scare last night, winning by a whisker. Ohio State will travel to Illinois tonight to play the Illini. They are favored by six points. This would be a real lift for the Buckeyes, assuming we can stay in the hunt on the road.

Liddell is playing after all. We are down by one point at the half, 37-36 thanks to Kyle Young. Plummer has been deadly for the Illini.

All Buckeyes in second half, but Illini made up a 14 point point run late in the game. Ohio State wins 86-83. Illinois coach Underwood had one Technical and was ejected in the final six minutes of the game. We are now 1/2 game out of first place with four games remaining. Malaki Branham. freshman is really coming on strong as the season is winding down.

Big Game this weekend in Iowa City.
Catlin Clark and the Hawkeyes welcome Michigan. It's the first sellout in a long time for the women's program. Last time they met Clark put on quite a show in a losing effort at Ann Arbor. 46 points hitting shot after amazing shot. It will be hard to duplicate that performance though.

IOWA CITY, IOWA — The Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team will play before a sold out home crowd for the first time since the 80s on Sunday as they look to secure a share of the Big Ten title heading into the conference tournament.

The #21 Hawkeyes will welcome the #6 Michigan Wolverines to Carver-Hawkeye on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. The University of Iowa announced on Friday that the game is sold out – the first women’s game to sell out at Carver-Hawkeye Arena since January 31st, 1988.

I agree with the half time guys that big men like Eads are not officiated fairly.

Been that way for ever though.

Pretty exciting win for MSU, and much needed as they have been on a rough patch lately.

I watched the game. Vintage Izzo defense. Nice win by MSU to stop the bleeding. Once again, it's shown how hard it is in the B10 to go into the opponent's arena and come out with a win.

3 top 10 teams have already lost today.
Purdue, Auburn and Kentucky all lost on the road. All 3 played to big sellouts of vocal and boisterous fans

That win for Izzo tied him for the most Big 10 wins with Bobby Knight.

The slumping Spartans (19-9, 10-7) had lost three straight and five of six. The dramatic victory over the Boilermakers was win No. 662 for Izzo, equaling Knight's total with the Hoosiers from 1972 to 2000.

TCU pulls off another upset of a top 10 team, Texas Tech. Road loss of course for Tech. That's 4 top teams losing today. Tech hit a long 3 pointer to tie the game, excerpt that the buzzer went off before the shot left his hands.

#5 KU travels to Waco for top 10 (#10) Baylor... So there will be a 5th top 10 team go down one way or another!

Blood bath today for top 10 teams!
