How about let's not have it be Mike White..... who just hauled in a terrific recruiting class at UF.
If it is it's only acceptable if Billy D returns to G-ville..... :)

Dave, I have not seen White's name mentioned anywhere on the primary candidates!

Somehow I did not associate Mike White with Florida. Must have been daydreaming about something else.o_O

Luke Yaklich, Mich basketball asst under Beilein, takes the asst's job at Texas. He is known for his defensive coaching ability. Most think this is an excellent hire by Shaka Smart

Dave, who do you see as the major contenders in the SEC this year?

Don I'm not up on who has what coming back but you can always count on Kentucky to reload plus last year Auburn, LSU and Tennessee had great seasons plus these Gators were decent and look to be improved even more so next season. I think Georgia also had an outstanding recruiting class and in BB as Ky proves every year one great recruiting class can propel a team to success.

Interesting move by new UM coach Juwann Howard to hire former St. Joe's Coach Phil Martelli. Martelli was at St. Joe's for a long time as an asst and HC for 24 years before he was fired at the end of this last season. Apparently Howard hired him even though they don't really know each other on the recommendation of Kentucky's John Calapari.
