Zion Williamson will be back in action tonight vs Syracuse. He hasn't played in a game since the first UNC game on Feb 20th. Not really rooting for Duke but I hope when he plays that he stays healthy. I can't imagine the consequences if he injures himself again. There is already some support that players with NBA lottery pick destinations shouldn't play in the tournament. Why risk the injury is always the mantra.
I see that LSU coach Will Wade wants to be back on the sideline for the Tournament. I'm betting that he will not be allowed back on the sidelines, apparently the status of the player who he was talking about is up in the air as well. According to what I read he did not play in the last LSU game. Not sure that it makes any difference as if the player is declared an ineligible player all the games he's played in will be forfeited. I can't imagine how that would impact games LSU plays in the SEC and NCAA tournaments if they have to forfeit all of their regular season games.
Congratulations on that win over Maryland in the Big Ten Tournament AJ! Buckeyes come back strong in the first game against Indiana. I think we are now in the Big Dance.
Zion was amazing last night. Syracuse hung tough with them but Duke pulled away at the end. Anybody think Syracuse player Frank Howard tried to trip Zion? Jay Bilas accused him of that. Hard not to notice Jim Boeheim's son Buddy looked pretty good out there.
Texas loss to KU last night puts them in jeopardy of not making the tourney, although I believe that Lunardi still thinks they get in. Longhorns likely though lost one of their best players and a kid who reportedly was going to be a lottery pick to a knee injury, Jaxson Hayes.
Saw this on Twitter: BREAKING: Lori Loughlin hired to get IU into the NCAA Tournament. Made me laugh.
No surprise that A&M fired their basketball coach. Buzz Williams and Chris Beard are the top candidates..
Watch out for the Houston Cougars. They won today and are in the AAC finals, Kelvin Sampson has done a great job and they are are a good mix of young players and veterans.
Apparently, Tennessee left everything on the floor yesterday against Kentucky. Auburn is steamrolling Tennessee this afternoon!
