Terry the baseball stadium is on campus which makes it nice. I have more fun making the three hour trip south to watch a Cane baseball game then sitting with the drunks to watch a football game that's 22 miles off campus. Lots of fun and family atmosphere with fans that have knowledge of the game. Ralph
Ugh shaping up to be a bad year for the Irish. Lost 2 out of 3 to the B10 last weekend and yesterday got beat by Harvard and Kansas State. Program is in trouble. Texas lost to Houston yesterday, but Texas will be OK, Houston fields some good teams and it's not like we lost to Harvard!
Gators off to a good start. Beat Miami 2/3 in Miami and lost to FSU on a neutral field. 6-2 at this point.
I'll get my first look at the 9-2 Aggies this weekend. So far it's been some good with some bad. The good: We've got pitching. (ERA of 1.93!!) The hitting is there, but not overwhelming. (.340) The bad: Defense has let us down in the losses. Through 11 games... 20 freakin' errors! I have hope. Through practice you can clean up a lot of the defensive woes. The other stuff is much harder to overcome.
