I can't let last night pass without one little poke at Terry.
The Aggies smoked the Horns in Austin last night 9-2 in the last meeting as non conference foes.
    :D

    Phew!
The Aggies needed some Olsen magic last night to remain undefeated.
The Sunday starter left the game after 5 1/3 giving up 1 run, leading 7-1. The relief that has been so good this season proceeded to give up 10 in the next two innings. The Aggies notched 2 runs in the bottom of the ninth to force a 10th, and walked it off in the bottom half.
And L$U lost so it was a really good day.

Good for you and your Aggies Scott. We never seem to get much better that 500 ball and that is discouraging.:(

Irish found out that playing ACC foe's is a lot different than Tenn Tech, and got blown out in their series vs Va.Tech in Blacksburg. Pitching not looking good.

Holy smokes! Aggie OF Jace Laviolette hit a 470ft home run last night that cleared the batters eye wall in center field!
    Found it!

Gotta take the bad with the good... the Ags finally took an L last night in Gainesville, losing 8-6.
Surrendering 5 HR's isn't the way to get an opening series win on the road!
Ace Ryan Prager was gone in the 3rd, so tip of the hat to the Gator bats.
Hopefully the Aggies take it personally and rebound with a win today.

Well Aggie baseball bounced back today taking game 2 from the Gators 10-6.
Florida left a lot of runners on base in this one. PHEW.

I have to say while it sucked to lose the post season series last year to Stanford, it allowed Braden Montgomery a chance to be exposed to the A&M program, and eventually transfer in this year.
If there is a kid that's been more of "the real deal" in college ball, I haven't seen him.
    Wow.

I know most of you are busy with the finals of basketball... but did anyone catch this?

They call catcher's gear the tools of ignorance for a reason. The guy is a tool.

Sid's right, that catcher was way out of bounds, he made the play what's with the kneeing the guy in the chest and standing over him and taunting him? But there were 11 ejections? I don't see anybody but the catcher who needed to be ejected.

I'm guessing it's leaving the dugout like leaving the bench in basketball.

Sid is correct, there are automatic ejections for certain things and I believe some of them have multi game suspensions that go with them.
As far as I know it was never revealed what got the catcher in such a pissy mood.

Number 6 Vanderbilt visits College Station to face my #3 Aggies.
I can only hope the rest of the weekend goes nearly this well.
    Run ruled the Commodores 15-0.

It'll be interesting to see how the rankings shake tomorrow.
#1 Arkansas loses series to #25 Alabama 2-1.
#2 Clemson loses series to unranked NC St 2-1.
    #3 A&M sweeps #6 Vandy, outscoring them 36-6...

I actually hope the Aggies end up #2. Let the target remain on the Hogs.

Congrats on the Ags' move to #1, Scott. I'm just happy to see Arizona finally get into the top 25 this season.

Glad to have you in the conversation Rick, and as you said the Cats are #21 after a 4-0 week.
What the heck is going on with you playing a midweek game against Stanford, when you have what I assume is the conference series coming in May???
