    A question on that call at the plate in the 8th inning. LSU player was tagged out by the Wake catcher, even though he was a good six inches off of home plate? I have always been under the impression that your foot had to be on the base or home plate to be called out?

    Not at home plate Don. The only time the catcher needs to have his foot on home plate is a force out.
