FWIW 5 out of the last 6 CWS winners lost game 1.

On another note, Scott what do you think of Schoshnagel wanting to double the size of Blue Bell?

I dono but the Rebels looked pretty strong to me. Excellent pitching and Sooner bats were relatively quiet last night. Game two should be interesting.

I don't really care who wins, although I lean slightly toward Oklahoma. I just love watching college baseball. There were a couple of examples last night of attention to - and ability to execute - fundamentals, which you just don't see in MLB. A perfect drag bunt, for example. Not significant in the outcome of the game but beautiful to see.

Sorry guys, we are moving in the next few weeks, so I've been busier than a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest. Haven't gotten to see much.
I'm conflicted. I don't like EITEHR of these teams so can't root for either.
The Aggies handled Ole Miss at their place this year, so I guess I should hope they win and give me a little piece of bragging rights. ;)

Terry, we should've expanded the park when they did the big face lift a few years back.
It's damn near impossible to get in there now if you want an actual seat.

Ole Miss is your 2022 National Champs. One of the last teams in but got healthy and hot at the right time.

Was Kiffin there in the crowd?

4 or 5 ND baseball players are in the Portal, they had to declare by Jul 1, so it might be that they just wanted to keep their options open incase they don't like the hire of the next baseball coach. One of them is freshman post season phenom Jack Findlay who was pretty much the lockdown relief pitcher who secured the Tenn and Texas wins.

    Terry,
When they moved the draft to mid July, it screwed up everything to do with roster management.
So, the kids basically have to all go into the portal to have any options. Doesn't mean any are leaving, just keeps things open if they need to.
The NCAA needs to move the scholarship renewal date behind the draft.
