Looks like a Gator coach is leaving for Bama. Sal Sunseri leaving Florida to join Alabama staff | GatorCountry.com
Sounds like a deal was cut, I'll give your son a job here if you'll come as well. Nothing wrong with it. Good pickup for the Tide, he'll have top talent to work with that's for sure.
This is not the first time that Sal Sunseri has worked for Saban and with all of the coaches and coordinators we have lost having a familiar name back will be good.
Tee Martin back to Tenn. He was fired as OCoord at USC and his position on the staff at Tenn is not specified right now. He's well known to be a terrific recruiter.
Saban is rebuilding the staff, 4 new guys are on the way. Sal Sunseri DL Coach ..comes from UF Charles Kelly Safeties and Special Teams ...comes from Tenn Kyle Flood former Rutgers HC and who has worked with Sark as an OL coach. Charles Huff RB coach ..came with Joe Moorhead from Penn State to Miss State. Irish fans were hearing that he was a potential hire for Brian Kelly, we need a RB coach. kp any word on whether or not you'll hire another guy to be the DCoord or will you have C0-DCoord?
Since he was reportedly responsible for developing Barkley, I think most Irish fans hoped that would be the case. I don't know about Alford, he's still at Ohio State and it'd be a lateral move for him.
It makes sense, he's happy at OSU, I'm sure he's being paid well and he's had success both in getting top RB's to Ohio State and developing them. I would think the only way he'd leave is if he had an opportunity to move to a Coord position or even become a HC at a smaller school. RB coach at ND is a lateral move.
Well with USC already having lost Bru McCoy after the departure of Kliff Kingsbury, now Amon Ra St. Brown is reportedly headed out for Oregon over the offense. ESPN is reporting that former Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell currently the OCoord at N.Texas is talking to them about becoming their OCoord. He's another Air Raid guy of course. He of course played for the Pirate at TT and was the QB who threw that pass to Michael Crabtree to beat Texas and keep us out of the BCS Championship game.
Ha yeah but we lost as whole bunch of recruiters in the last month. Sarkisian is supposedly not enthusiastic about hitting the road and the other new guys are unknowns.
analysts can help recruit once you get them on campus, they just can't have off-campus contact with the recruits.
I didn't know that Greg Schiano was no longer with the Buckeyes, even though Don had posted awhile ago that he didn't think that Ryan Day would retain him. But he's got a new gig now, he's the DCoord for the Patriots, not a bad gig!
Somebody posted on one of my ND boards that Mike Elko the Texas A&M DCoord is interviewing for the Bengals DCoord position. Pretty surprising. I wonder if the Bengals can pay him what the Aggies are paying him?
