yeah, I'm not sure what to think about Daboll. Comes from the Patriots, so he has worked for a meticulous coach and should know what he's getting himself into, but his resume does not sparkle. He has been the OC for some pretty bad offenses in the NFL. I assume Bellichick recommended him so we'll wait and see. :?:

Well he's your man now kp, I wonder what offense he will bring to Alabama?

I'm now sort of leery of Pro Coord coming back to college. Not that none have ever made the transition smoothly, but they don't have the 20 hour practice limits in the Pro's, and they have more offseason time with the players. He won't have Tom Brady either. But one thing for certain, he'll have a lot of raw material to work with at Alabama.

Kiffin took you guys away from the McElwain/Nussmeyer style of offense more towards the spread. I wonder if he will bring back more of those style of offenses.

Terry, right now we have a spread type qb and a other one coming in. A switch now might be painful. Hopefully we can straddle the fence and do a combination of both. One of the keys to success in college football is adapting to your personnel. We have started down this road hopefully Daboll can facilitate that adaptation.

    I'm expecting two things

    1. He'll run the damned ball
    2. He'll throw to the TE regularly and not as a surprise.

Corey, both of those things would be great!

Darrell Hazell winds up with Minnesota Vikings as WR coach. I wish him well.
