Texas still searching for a DCoord. The boards seemed to think it was going to be Lanning from UGA, but he turned them down. I wouldn't be surprised if the interest from Texas got him a nice raise at Georgia.

That is a stunner at Tennessee. I don't know the issue but no buyout for Pruitt and Fulmer is retiring. Steele is apparently the interim Head Coach.

Pruitt may become the latest Alabama analyst. Fulmer, I don't know why he was rehired in the first place.

What happens if the NCAA puts a show cause stamp on Pruitt, ordinarily that follows him to any NCAA job for the period that it is imposed. I don't know if it includes the Analyst position though.

Didn't even get the kid that they broke the rules for....

Sources told ESPN that Tennessee's recruitment of Amarius Mims, the No. 3 offensive tackle and No. 19 player overall in the 2021 ESPN 300 rankings, is part of the inquiry. Mims signed with Georgia.

Pruitt fired for cause so no payout to him. I have offered my services as HC but if you remember Doc Dan, Dan Bowden, he seems to think I am better suited as the AD... Retiring 10-March so I wouldn't turn it down. :):):):)

We will eventually move East. After my retirement date, and Cindy recovers from ankle replacement surgery, I will start making back and forth trips to Chattanooga until Cindy is ready to retire. Once that happens, we will look for a place to move inside the ring made by Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Ashville North Carolina, and Greenville South Carolina.

It was just a joke. I haven't been paying much attention to Tennessee's NCAA problems.

Pruitt will sue. In order to win that suit, the audit commissioned by Tennessee will have to establish that recruiting violations took place that he knew of or should have known of. If they can establish that, no doubt the NCAA will swoop in and impose sanctions on Tennessee. Definitely a Catch 22 situation for Vols—lose the suit and pay millions to Pruitt or win and have your program put on probation.

Tennessee is a great state & has a lot of resources so they will eventually recover but this is a FUBAR situation right now.

Sark finally has his DCoord, poaching the DCoord from Washington, Pete Kwiatkowski. Texas fans are pumped over this hire, even though they had no idea who he was!! But one of his strong suits is his defenses against the Spread...hello...Big12 is Spread City!!

Alabama is going to have 2 former NFL HC on it's offensive staff. Bill O'Brien will be their OCoord and the former Jax Jags HC and actually a close friend of O'Briens, Doug Marrone will be the OL coach.

With that mess in Knoxville I have to wonder who is going to take that job. They have to find an AD and usually that's the guy who makes the HC hire. How long will it take them to find an AD, I wonder if they'll go to somebody like Kevin Steele who took a job there on Pruitt's staff before the stuff hit the fan.

Bill, as I recall, you are in Franklin NC correct? We do have feelers out in that area. That would place us close to the half way mark between my brother and my mother/stepfather. It would also maximize the distance between us and my two different step brothers, both of which are "less than desirable" neighbors. :)

Bobda, with the lackluster performance over the last decade, it just doesn't make much difference what the NCAA does. The mass exodus through the transfer portal will give us at least a 4 year death penalty without the NCAA's attention.

Terry, Kevin Steele is already the interim coach and he needs to be offered the job before Fulmer is 100% out the door!
