I had a dream last night. Scott was sweating in front of his TV. Over his shoulders were two vultures named, "Kes" and "Corey." They were about to descend and tear the carcass apart, when he woke up and the nightmare ended...

We were talking earlier in the week about motivation and preparedness in bowl games. In this one, A&M was prepared, but they didn't have even half the motivation of Duke. They woke up just in time...

My favorite thing about this game was actually Ole Miss fans.

They seem to really not like A&M for whatever reason. They hate them pretty good. They were rooting for Duke.

It's like they forgot that Ole Miss fired Cut for having 1 bad year. He may be the greatest coach to ever walk the sidelines at Ole Miss. (I'm well aware of John Vaught and some legacies are drowned out by whites only watered down schedules, his is one of them)

These are the people who replaced the stoic Coach Cut with the cartoonish Orgeron (DACOACHO). It's just a damned shame Tubberville ever left those people because damn it, they deserve each other.

I read a couple game reports from A&M fans who thought the Duke fans were incredible. (and by incredible, they meant so damned funny you couldn't even be mad at them)

Honestly, I don't know if Cut goes to Texas. Remember, after he got dumped by Ole Miss, he had a rough go of it for a bit. Weis hired him at ND and he had some heart issues. He might be enjoying his time at Duke up in the castle on the mountains.

Again, nothing against Texas. The Texas job would bring a lot of things that the Duke job never will. Also, let's not lose sight of the fact that Duke is tobacco money. It's not like they'll ever run out of money if they choose to spend it. They can give Cut a bunch of money to simply put graduating athletes who play entertaining football on the field. That's appealing.

    LOL JO'Co! I wasn't asleep... I was living it!

Corey, I think that hate might be connected to the "upstart" Aggies coming in and not only taking the slot in the pecking order they thought they were heading for... but doing it in heartbreaking fashion twice... IN THEIR YARD.
    Happy to oblige them.

    :p

With what Cutcliffe has done at Duke now, he can stay there for a long time. After all he's not the basketball coach, so no one is really paying attention to what he does.

On Ole Miss, even though it is pretty mundane, Ole Miss is THE most tradition bound program in the SEC, so A&M will take some time to break into their inner circle.
