The anesthesiologist came in to discuss her options. She said: She was holding work meetings in her room on the first day. She was going over pharmacy reports last night because she ran out of books to read. Care to guess whether she deserves her nickname?
Just had a wonderful dinner <r>I just had to tell you guys something about my staff. They are a bit wonderful.<br/> While I was in the hospital my staff circulated a sign up sheet to provide dinner for us each night. I knew they were pretty wonderful but this is above and beyond. My assistant came up to tell Tom about this on Monday and pretty much told him not to argue with her. (That's why she's my assistant. <E></E> )<br/> We just had the first of those meals which was created by a person who has not worked for me since December 2007. Her mother still works for me. This was a treat for the tastebuds, made even better because all Tom had to do was put it in the oven and dish it up. That's a good thing since I'm running him ragged. <E></E></r>
I love stories like this one, where people care enough about other people to go above and beyond during their recuperation. It speaks volumes about the goodness of the people being cared for as well as the goodness of the caregivers.
I've been unable to get on much the last couple of days, the hotel we were at had a poor wireless system. But I/we are glad you are doing well Cindy. I assume you have one of those CPM machines? Jeanne had kind of a love hate relationship with hers both times. Glad to hear you are doing so well. Bill and Jeanne
I do have a CPM and the coolest (drumroll please) thing called Polarecare. That is an igloo cooler with a pump that pumps chilled water through a pad. No leaking ice bags and only need to be refilled every 4 hours or so. I do understand Jeanne's love hate relationship with the CPM. It helps so much but stretches those muscles farther each day to keep you mobile. Sid They are a great bunch of folks. And I guess they do think a little bit of good is in me.
OK, this topic is ready for the move to the back room. I am leaving a ghost topic on the sports board that will allow me to see what is written for a few days.
