Georgia <t>according to their own depth chart updated right before the bowl game. Georgia started:<br/> <br/> A true freshman at LT, and RG.<br/> A red-shirt freshman at LG (so basically an ND sophomore)<br/> Two seniors C and RT.<br/> <br/> More important, those freshman had to beat out players that had been in Richt's system. Competition breeds success. What we had at ND was a virtual human void along the OL that was inherited by the coach from the previous staff. Sure, he's recruited better players.. Who are they competing against? Who is pushing them to get better? The answer is... no one.</t>
As for Crist <r>I really like his arm, size and even feet. He's no Vince Young, but he can throw it.. That Pryor kid is a great athlete but I thought he wasn't much of a passer. You can tell he's got a great arm when he gets to wind up... but college defense won't always give him time to wind up. <br/> <br/> I plan on spending the next 4 to 5 years rooting against that kid <E></E></r>
Interesting....Notre Dame recruit Jonas Gray lost his eligibility for Basketball and Track as a result of playing the AA All-Star Game. Is Mich the only state with this rule??
In AZ every kid is only allowed so many games a year if a kid goes over they not only lose eligibility but the schools program may be put on probation and/or be forced to forfeit games.
