Orange Bowl. A&M v UNC. Good match up.

Cotton Bowl. OU v Fla... Another good matchup.

Fiesta Bowl. Oregon v Iowa State.

Peach Bowl. Cincinnati v Georgia... with all the talk of how Cincinnati gets no respect this game will give them a chance to make a statement much like UCF did against Auburn a few years ago.

The outstanding Florida TE, Pitts, has opted out. That’s a big loss for the Gators.

Herbie kept saying that you don't want to play the Sooners. That they are one of the best teams now, have improved tremendously since the 1-2 start.

Have the Huskers opted out of the bowls? I read that Army needs a bowl and an opponent. Neb v the Cadets would be great!

SCOFRO let the unity council decide. Rough year, some kids haven't been home since June. Pause, reset.

That sucks for Army, and reminds me of the old days when bowls made backroom deals well before the season was over, and some sorry teams got good bowls, and good teams got left out.

Well Army got in to replace S. Carolina. I agree they shouldn't have been left out.

I see that the Gators got bad news from the NCAA today. This came out of nowhere for me, Bill have you been aware that UF was being investigated?

Florida has been placed on one year of probation and coach Dan Mullen has been given a one-year show-cause order after the NCAA determined that the football program violated recruiting contact rules on two occasions in 2019.

Mullen was found to have failed to promote an atmosphere of compliance and will be banned from all off-campus recruiting activity during the fall 2020 evaluation period. He was also given a four-day off-campus recruiting ban during the fall 2021 contact period, and the university banned him from recruiting for the first 10 days of the January 2020 contact period.

Mullen, Florida handed penalties for recruiting

No I was not aware Terry. The charges are baffling to me, all the rhetoric and only a $5,000 fine. He was also banned from going to a Seattle High School for a year.

Most of the penalties are small and already served in 2018 and 2019. Wish it hadn't happened but appears to me to be small potatoes.
