Xavier Worthy on crutches now is not a good sign. He's our best receiver and punt returner. He will have about a month to recover if it isn't serious. But with what they showed and him on crutches and in a boot is not a good sign.

I think the committee is unlikely to have the 12-1 winner of the nations strongest conference not in the playoff. Your reference to ND/FSU is germaine. FSU is starting the true freshman at QB. He got snowed under on his first series.
You may be correct. Head to head is a major factor, so is strength of schedule. Alabama, Georgia, and Texas all played 5 ranked teams. That's more.than anyone else in the top 8.
