No scoring in the 3rd qtr in spite of Michigan turnovers. Seems like a combination of Smart going to a prevent run the clock offense and Michigan defense turning up the heat.

4th quarter. Michigan needs an earthquake or lightning strike now.

Well Stetson Bennett makes the big pass play.
    UGA 34-3.

Wonder if they shot their wad against us. Doesn’t look like the same team.

Wish we went with McCarthy earlier but we are just being totally outclassed tonight. Bama and Georgia are just at a higher level.

Those numbers they gave out regarding recruiting talent is telling. It's the same for ND, we just don't have the same level of talent.

I am tickled to be in the Championship game again but I hate the thought of having to play Georgia again.

Always tougher to beat a team twice.
No doubt that the 2 best teams will be playing for the title

How lucky is the SEC that Ga. crapped in the bed and lost to Alabama? The conference ended up with 2 teams in the playoffs and both teams in the finals. Ga. probably gets more money for losing that game.

Georgia looks to have more talent than Alabama overall but, at QB, Bama has a huge edge in talent. Georgia’s front 7 are flat-out sensational but I guess the big question for them is whether their secondary will fare better in the rematch. Alabama’s defense has certainly played a lot better late in the season. Looking forward to watch this heavyweight matchup.

The big surprise for me in the first game with Georgia was the play of the Alabama offensive line. They were able to give Young time to throw and he burned them. I think Auburn had 5 or 6 sacks but Georgia had 0. Also Bennett did not have a.good game against Alabama last.time. Hopefully, COVID will not be a factor also. We'll see. I never expected Alabama to get.this.far.this year.

I find it mildly ironic that two southern teams are coming to Indiana in January to play for the NCAA championship, in a covered stadium, of course. The fans might not like it so much, but Indianapolis will put its best foot forward in terms of hospitality. The current forecast, subject to change, for next Monday is high 27 and low 13.

As I said earlier it's clear that the 2 best teams will play for the Championship.

I thought it interesting that against UGA, the Tide had a big explosion in the passing game. While against Cincy they had a big running game. In both games the Tide defense was great.

I put my money on the team with the best QB, and while Stetson had an excellent game vs UM, I think Young is clearly the better QB.

Michigan really looked flat to me while Georgia was firing on all cylinders. Cincinnati never really had a chance. Ridder's NFL future was called into serious question in this game.

Hard to imagine that Michigan was flat, they had such a fantastic finish to their season. Just that there was such a talent disparity along the lines that favored UGA and I do believe Georgia was definitely fired up after that loss in the SEC Championship game.

I was thinking how can Georgia look so good in this game vs when we saw them last against Alabama and at the same time how can Mich look this bad vs last time we saw them against Oh St.?

I gotta go with a combination of both factors. No denying the talent but they definitely looked flat to me.

I'm a bit surprised that UGA has opened as a 2.5 point favorite over Alabama. I think the Tide defense will pose the same problems for Stetson Bennett as they did in Atlanta. Granted I think the UGA defense will be better prepared for Bryce Young but you still have to score points and I just don't think Georgia can score any more the 2nd time around.

    Low scoring close game.
