If you are a fan of either team (or bet on this game), you are being tortured.

    Georgia FG kicker is money.

Wow...what an ending. Tua holds the ball too long and takes the big sack...then sacks it up and throws a strike for the win.

Congrats kp, if you're still conscious.

Hard to imagine a QB who has gone 25-2 as a starter is probably done as a starter. Tua just has so much more game than Jalen. Unless he gets injured how do you not play him.

I won't be surprised to hear that Jalen transfers this summer.

Who is the 5 star QB Alabama has in the 2018 class?

That was unbelievable, Tag Tua was the spark that made the second half comeback. The defense picked up. The offense picked up. I was wrong. That was a gutsy move by Saban. Wow.

What a roller coaster of a finish! Cindy took Georgia and I took Bama as a little household bet. as with every game that goes past 10pm central, I watched the game in bed starting with the complete 4th quarter. Cindy has to be up at 04:45 to get ready and leave for work. I get up with her so 10pm is strictly adhered to for bed time.

When the kicker for Bama made his second bad kick, I thought to myself: "Georgia better score a TD in overtime because that Bama kicker is done... Bama will use all 4 downs to get a TD." I again thought Bama had lost with the 16 yard sack on 1st down but that Freshman QB had ice water in his veins. Next play on 2nd and 26... TD Bama for the win.

Perfect game for a fan without a team in the fight. Exciting match up all 4 quarters. Congrats to Bama fans, wherever you are! Brian and KP, enjoy this win knowing that you are loaded for next season.

Just read through all these comments and am sorry I wan't participating last night.

Heck of a game and both teams deserved to win. Two OT games in this years playoffs makes it more exciting.

Just one small remark about the debate early on as to the 4th team. I don't know what the answer is with a four team playoff and do agree we need to expand to eight. Six would also work with the first two getting a bye week.

But I do have to say this and hope I don't offend my Ohio State friends. Last year they got in over their own league Champion, Penn State, who had also beaten Ohio State, that was based on one loss vs two losses.

So this year for the fourth spot a similar logic was used.

I also have to say that Georgia is frightening for the Gators over the next few years. Mullen has his work cut out.

I still can't believe Saban started a freshman in the 2nd half. That took guts. If Tag flops it's all on him. He stumbled but played a hell of a game. Amazing.

Congratulations to Alabama and all its fans, hats off to the coaching staff and each and every player, Great game..... 8)

:x And thumbs down on the sorry excuse they call officiating for that game last night. It was so poor it was comical and at the end lowered my desire to finish the game.

As you all know, I was a doubter about Alabama's play this season. They played well enough to win until the Auburn game. Alabama simply did not execute well enough to win that game. We made it into the playoffs because of our 1 loss record, even though I still think Wisconsin had a better argument for being in. Our defense showed up in the Clemson game last week and for the first time in the second half of the season we looked like we belonged. Then last night, we looked like we were once again going to fail to execute. Then Saban pulled a rabbit out of his hat and Alabama came to life in the second half. We had a Jekyll and Hyde season but in the end Alabama did what it had to do to win it all. I thought that Smart was better prepared than Saban last night. Not so, after all. This was not Saban's best team but here we are. Roll Tide!

kp I asked this in another post...

What does the Bama depth chart look like at QB if Hurts decides to move on if he is not going to be the starter. Is the general feeling in Alabama right now that Tua has moved pass Hurts and will be the starter going into the spring? Or do people think Saban will just let it be a competition hoping that Hurts will improve the passing part of his game.

I bet on Bama laying the 3.5. So I am not a happy camper.

How about the Qb situation in Georgia?

Jacob Eason.... last year's frosh phenom riding the pine and sliding over for this year's #2 dual rated Qb Justin Fields?

How can Eason just agree to sit and wait for another turn at Qb that may never come?
