Congrats KP. Incredible how a freshman QB can come off the bench in the 2nd half and play like a veteran All American. Credit to the coaching staff for their ability to prepare that young man to step into that perilous situation and play so well.
While Georgia might worry Gator fans how about the whole SEC wondering what the Tide will be like with Tagovailoa at QB for the next couple of years. Got to give Saban Credit, he wasn't going to let the Dawgs do to his defense what Clemson had done the year before. He gambled with a kid for a cannon of an arm and he was incredible. That last pass could have been thrown by Flacco or Stafford.
I saw an article about Eason most likely returning home to play for Washington. But there is a crowded QB room there and no guarantee that he'll start. I wonder if he would fit what Mullen wants in a QB, which as we all know is a Tim Tebow clone....or maybe Dak Prescott.
I was following 2 threads last night one on InsideTexas and this one here on the Skybox. Somebody was posting Lane Kiffin Tweets on InsideTexas and I thought I'll bet Corey is following Kiffin's Twitter feed!
I almost wonder if Fields was told that Eason would be on the move. How else could he agree to sign with the Dawgs and be a for sure #3 option? It would seem a more natural move for Eason to move back west to a PAC12 school. Every school needs some pineriders at QB.... but Ga. has three who think they should be the man.
Lane Kiffin says that Tua had one foot out the door if he hadn't played in the Title game. Said Tua was better than Hurts in practice and thought he should be starting. https://www.thescore.com/ncaaf/news/1464081
Terry,we have another Freshman (Mac Jones) and a sophomore (Montana Murphy). Both seem to be okay neither even come close to Hurts and Tag. So far we don't have a qb in the 2018 recruiting class so it would be very thin if Hurts leaves. Right now I think Tag has done to Hurts what Hurts did to the guys he beat out.

Terry, Believe it or not, I am not following Lane Kiffin on twitter. Now that you mention it though, I just might start doing it. On my twitter, it's basically my friends and a group of members from the main stream media who are/were dumb enough to follow me or find me funny. Oh, there's also the guys from SBNation/EDSBS but some of them are actually friends so they're lumped in the first group. I really don't follow a lot of people that don't follow me, but I might have to make an exception for Joey Freshwater.
Here's something interesting. Everybody remembers that Alabama kid who went nuts on the sideline going after an auxillary staff member when he was pulled from the game for a personal foul ( I think). Well he's leaving Alabama, now that in itself isn't a big deal. Kids transfer all the time. But he apparently has been planing this since the fall and had secured admission to Tenn State prior to the end of the season. For a guy who is leaving and has had one foot out the door since midseason, he sure played a lot last Mon. kp...what was his role on the team, starter, backup, special teams, ????
He was sophomore linebacker who was primarily a special teams player. His lack of discipline probably earned him a recommendation to Tennessee State.
