This is going to be even more challenging given that most of the teams not in the CFP are not the team that finished the season, portal and opt outs have changed them completely.
A reminder here for those of you whom might be interested, multiple entries up to 3 are permitted. if you are so inclined
Don, I don't see Michael...is he Bogeyman? The Yahoo contest let me see who everybody was for the most part.
Yes, unfortunately Yahoo decided not to participate this year in the Bowl Games. I agree ESPN is not quite as user friendly to navigate at times.
George notified me he was not interested, Diane has not responded and AJ's absence is puzzling? Only a few days left before the games begin. ESPN does not allow the commissioners to view picks, until the first game starts. So make sure all of your picks are completed. They save automatically!
It really is....consider the case of my Buckeyes. Not only do I not know who will line up under center, I also have no idea who he will be handing the ball to at RB nor who will be catching any of the passes thrown to any of the WR spots. Crazy...we have no idea who is going to be touching the ball outside of semi-educated guesses.
Some good news; many third year players have decided to play the bowl though they haven't determined whether to come back next year or not. They include Denzel Burke, Emeka Egbuka, Jordan Hancock, Donovan Jackson, Jack Sawyer and Tyleik Williams. Harrison is still undecided.
That is great news and to me speaks highly to the culture Day has instilled. A couple of those guys - Burke, Egbuka, Sawyer and Williams perhaps - are draft eligible, potential 1st round or early round draft picks and have nothing to prove by playing, tho Egbuka has yet to return to his former self after a mid-season injury. Happy to see it... It seems much of the uncertainty is clearing....Devin Brown likely to start at QB, no word on Henderson so the RB likely to be Hayden and that's it, no more healthy schollie backs not in the TP. Xavier Johnson will get some snaps as well. I can't imagine Harrison is gonna play so outside is gonna be Emeka and maybe Ballard and then a bunch of 1st year FR babies, Tate and Innis. Very talented babies, but babies still. TE likely to be Stover, he's an f'n warrior, just can't see him sitting out his last game, Scott and then the new kid Jelani Thurman, highly touted, little seen. Defense is rounding into form, should be close to all hands on deck. Eichenberg unlikely
I agree things are not looking quite as bleak at the moment. Hopefully we can still manage one final game in the victory column? Certainly would leave a better remembrance for all of the fans, after the disappointing loss to the Wolverines.
When I try to make my picks it say's "Too Early" (I think to view other's picks) "Wait until picks are locked." Then when I go to "View my picks it wants me to choose standard, spread, or confidence. I assume we are doing standard???
