    Mike,

The reports of the actions of these "Christians" sickens me. Two passages come to mind here from the Bible that these protestors profess to love:
These soldiers die for our freedom as mandated by our government. What gives these people the right to protest against these fallen heros?
Do these people have selected belief in the Bible?

I don't condone any of the terrible actions that have been done by these people, its as low as a human being can treat the family of one deceased. And Tom is correct in the words written....

But I wonder where Governments that produced Hitler and Stalin fall into the picture. Does this make our revolution against the British a damnation against the U.S. from God.?

As always interpertation of Gods word is in the spirit of the giver and the spirit that gives it to us. I don't have any answers to my own questions and sorry for running down the rabbit trail on this...I only know that God is love and the actions of these people are far from love.

Huntington's disease is fatal and there is no cure. It is hereditary and is almost 100% likelihood that any children from the affected person will contract the disease. I feel for this family.

Saw another article on bullying today and the most startling thing to me....asked of over 523,000 US kids.....was this:

"While fewer than 10 percent of boys in grades three through five say they would join in bullying a kid they don’t like, almost 35 percent of the older kids say they would."

That is incredibly sad to me.

I am beginning to suspect we are developing a culture of mean.....negative....insensitive.....and pissed off adults who convey their negative attitudes toward their kids....

Hmmmmmm.......who do we know that espouses negative....mean spirited ******** all day....24-7??

    Coulter....Limbaugh???

Who do you think is the likely culprit here Jo'Co.....seriously?

35% of 523,000 is a helluva lot of kids who have been twisted by their parents obviously.

Way to go Fox News.....

You've lost me again. I have no idea what you're talking about. Are you seriously saying that you think America's teenagers watch Rush Limbaugh or Ann Coulter? They don't. Furthermore, neither Limbaugh or Coulter has a show on Fox News that I'm aware of. What are you trying to say? Bullying has nothing to do with watching tv anyway. I thought I explained that it comes from family life and culture...

From the few times that I've ever listened to Limbaugh or Coulter, their radio shows seemed to be fights against the greatest bully of them all: the U.S. Government and the cartels of public parasites who support it.

    Jo'Co,

Not the teenagers.......but their parents who live and breathe that mean/hate/negative stuff and throw Glen Beck in there as well.

Maybe I'm not serious but there is definitely some piss poor parenting going on if 35% of older kids say they would join in a bullying session if they saw one.

What happened between the younger group of 10% who would do so and the older group that grows to 35% of kids that would?

There has always been bullying...lots of it...I saw plenty of it in school. This is no surprise to those of us who were band jocks or geeks or in any way different in school.

It is a plus that society is becoming more aware of it and how destructive it can be.

And certainly technology has given new opportunities and more effective and destructive ways to bully.

Negative stuff? You mean the truth?

Beck makes you look through the hype. He exposes the chicanery of both parties. Just because you don't like the view doesn't mean it isn't so.

He hardly, if ever, is refuted.

    interesting subject...

this isn't a black/white issue. bullies aren't born, they are made.

There are worse things in the world than a bully. The fact that you don't reach out to the bully shows the overall lack of comprehension on the issue at hand.

You can feel pity or sympathy for the kid who killed himself, or you can call the spade a spade. You can look at it all for what it really is.

It's a terrible loss to be sure.. nothing can really be gained here but posturing by people who really have f*ck all to do with anything that really matters here.. Just another human tragedy being bastardized by pimps whoring out the legacy of human weakness for their own profit.

There are things in this world worse than bullies. Until you realize exactly who and what they are, you'll never really understand your location on the food chain.. no matter how sure of your positioning you think you are.

There are monsters in this world and not all monsters do bad things, but hold the ability or possess the capability to do terrible things. They just don't.. but make no mistake, a bully is limited by his quest for approval and love. There are those who know no such limits and only seek to gain by all means. That is who you should be looking out for.. but you won't..you don't even see them, so carry on.. Tell me how Rush killed the gay kid again?

This is when I would gag if I were a defense attorney and had to take a case like this.

In the Georgia prison system, they will discover what real bullies act like...
