Bizarre stat of the tourney: The only two teams to beat UF this season are also in the Final Four. Also.... if both Ky and UF make the final Florida will have to beat Ky for the 4th time this season to win the title.
Last year in the womens Final 4 the Irish had to beat UConn who they had already played 3 times during the year and won all three...couldn't do it 4 times. In the contest nobody has any teams left not named Fla or Wisconsin. Nobody had either UConn or Kentucky. I think it gets down to the only way RoGator keeps the lead is for both Fla and Wis to lose in the semi-finals. If Wisconsin wins the NC then John Deere wins. If the Gators win the NC then Trefrog wins. I'm not sure what happens if the Gators win the semi's but lose to Kentucky. Probably Trefrog wins.
I'm willing to bet no men's team has ever beaten another men's team 4 times in one season. It's not probable that the games would have even taken place and certainly not plausible that one team could defeat the other 4 straight times..... especially when that team is Kentucky playing well enough to be second in the SEC conference and playing in the National Final. Soooo.... Go Gators! and Go Bucky Badger!
