Interesting. We beat one of the two teams with 14 five-stars. Can we do it again?

Cam Rising, the much injured Utah QB who amazingly still has a year of eligibility left is no longer on the Utah roster. No one knows what his plans are, he missed all of 2023 recovering from knee surgery and then only played briefly in 2024 due to a hand injury. Before the injuries he was dynamic in the Ute offense.

Go to NFL, certainly won't be drafted and will have to be a UDFA. Or find another school for one more year, He was a freshman at Texas in 2018!! I hope we can finally work our way out of these 7 year guys in College Football.

I have seen reports that the NCAA is going to 5 years to play 5 years. No more redshirt. I guess that sort of simplifies things for the coaches.

The NCAA reportedly has reduced the Transfer Portal window to 10 days. I'll bet somebody sues them over that.

Interesting that both Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen, who would be NFL backs next year had they decided for the draft, are coming back. As will their QB, Drew Allar who actually needed to come back to continue his development.

Yeah they caved with the Vandy QB who wanted his Junior College days to not count against his NCAA eligibility and they caved not even going to court. This has a lot of implications, esp in other sports. Kids can go to JC in basketball and baseball and it won't count if they come to Div 1. Sort of like a minor league.

    Let the Arch era begin!!

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas junior quarterback Quinn Ewers declared for the NFL draft on Wednesday, ending a Longhorns career in which he led the program to a Big 12 championship and twice to the College Football Playoff but was not always embraced by a fan base eagerly waiting for Arch Manning to take over.

The most popular guy on campus is the backup quarterback. I guess we’ll see if he was worth waiting for.

Hard to imagine a Manning failing at QB. But you never know. I don't know how the OL and his WR's will look next year. Sark has recruited well, have they all developed?

That's why they call them WAY too early. It's just something to chew on during the offseason.

A lot of great players in this class.

Urban Meyer will join Nick Saban in the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class, and Michael Vick and Michael Strahan are among the former players who will be inducted.

The National Football Foundation announced Saban's selection last week and the rest of the 18-player, four-coach class Wednesday.

Saban retired last year as the NCAA's active leader in wins with 292-71-1 over 28 seasons at Toledo, Michigan State, LSU and Alabama. His seven national championships -- one at LSU, six at Alabama -- is the most by a Football Bowl Subdivision coach.

Saban, Meyer, Vick, Strahan top '25 HOF class
