I see that Notre Dame Legacy Jack Cichy was the player of the game, for Wisconsin. His dad was Steve Cichy who played at ND in the late 70's early 80's. I got this from NDNation. Apparently his dad went to the same HS as Roger Maris in Fargo. Who knew! :)

Interesting story, Terry. I don't remember the dad, but he must be very proud of his son.

Alamo bowl just got a lot less interesting with tcu players sent home, one including boykin, for striking an officer and public intoxication.

Wow, Big 10 teams beat both UCLA and USC in bowl games in California.

This might be a sign that something big is going to occur!

Add to that an "dumpster" ACC team beating Texas A&M.

    What's going on here?

Bobda, it seemed clear at the end of 2014 Bowl season that things were turning around for the B1G. I would submit, all due respect to Bama, that if there were a playoff then, Sparty plays Bama for the title and are very capable of winning. Last years bowl successes and CFP championship just validated the return of the B1G and quality at the top.

Looking forward to the Bama - Sparty game.....love two physical football teams who fear no one.....Bama is Bama and is rightfully favored, but if Sparty can beat us in Columbus with their backup QB, they can beat anybody, anywhere and those kids under Coach D would go to the depths of hell to play the devil himself and smack him in the mouth.....what a game!

OSU should've been in that game....not OU.....when they lost to Texas, the writing was on the wall......OSU lost to MSU who's the #3....better loss for points IMHO.......OSU's running game would have kept Clemson very busy....plus, after watching that game, not at all impressed with Clumpson's thuggery acts....

I really thought OU would win handily. Baker Mayfield looked pretty ordinary. Clemson better on both sides of the ball, even without their AA DE who got injured in the first series.

Finally a score, Bama up 7-0. Right now it looks to me that will be all the points they need.

Well kp I think it's safe to get out that cigar, the fat lady has sung....24-0 I don't think there is a miracle big enough to allow MSU to over come that score.

Clemson vs Alabama...Bama's next coach vs Bama's current coach! :D

Really did not expect that Bama would curb stomp Sparty like this.

    Bob,
To be honest, I didn't either. The Alabama defense is the constant. Cook and his receivers have not had a good game on top of that. Derek Henry has not been a factor. I wonder what Clemson prepares for now?

Well Clemson certainly surprised me, they just keep winning every game. I still do not think they can beat Bama!

Well, it seemed simple enough, neutralize Henry and force Coker to beat you. Unfortunately that left an awful lot of Bama WRs wide open and Coker found them time and again. The guy did a great job.
MSU's offense has never been prolific but last night it was non-existent. Just a great performance by the Tide.
