Astros pitching is a mess right now, injuries have really hurt. We have the Rangers coming in tonight and while this year we have done well vs them the past few years have been all Rangers in this series. They are coming off a sweep of the Nationals so they are hot while we are 2-4 in our last 6 games. Bullpen is totally worn out right now.

I could see us losing 1/2 of our 12 game lead over then rest of June.

The Astros are the team I fear the most in the American league.

Today is draft day! Will So. Cal phenom Hunter Greene of Notre Dame HS be the 1st High School rightie ever taken #1 overall?

Astros draft down in the middle, I'd like to get a pitcher.

The Dodgers have reduced payroll three years in a row. We're trying...

The teams is so loaded that they will have to start trading or dumping unused talent again. Take a look at the NL stats. Leading the league in HRs is Scott Schebler of the Reds with 18. He was a Dodger last season and they dumped him for nothing. He was great, but there were no openings. They can't find room for Ethier or Van Slyke either. One's in the minors, while the other is living on the DL. Meanwhile, rookie Cody Bellinger, who didn't even play in April, has almost caught Schebler with 15 HRs, and the Dodgers minor league team at Rancho Cucamonga is being hailed as perhaps the greatest minor league team in decades...

    The rich are getting richer.

He has been clocked OVER 100mph by multiple scouts and multiple radar guns.

I'm not feeling very good about the Astros over the next month. I won't be surprised if we play around .500 or worse till we get back to a solid pitching rotation.

Give it up Terry. You guys are so far out in front that our sympathy meter has hit zero. Now you know what George feels like being a Yankee fan...

    re: Aaron Judge

I was filling out my All-Star ballots when I first noticed this kid. I don't follow the American League, so I went to the stats to see who were the best players. Judge is leading the AL in every category by ten miles. He's a 6'7" monster who is destroying the world. If he ever goes to Tokyo, he'll be after Godzilla's records.

There's a guy like him in the NL. Giancarlo Stanton is also 6'7" and he's scary too. The Dodger call him "Megatron" like the Tranformer who destroys entire cities. He started to charge the mound a few weeks ago and I thought our pitcher was going to run for it. After the game, that pitcher admitted that he was thinking about making a run for it...

This kid Judge looks like Megatron with a higher batting average. I know the Angels don't want to see him again...

I questioned in previous comments whether the Yankees had enough pitching. I no longer have any questions. :?

    Yes he was.

Tanaka has been a total bust.

Pineda and Severino have pitched pretty well.

    Youngster Jordan Montgomery shows promise.

Middle relief has become a nightmare.

    Dodger Report:

Everything is high tides and green grass here...

    - Cody Bellinger

At this pace, he will hit 67 HRs this season. Remember, he's not some bloated old bum hopped up on PEDS. He's a 21 year-old kid.

    - Corey Seager

Three HRs and a double last night. He's one of those guys who has HOF written all over him.

    - Clayton Kershaw

His last three starts have included a lot of mistakes. Last game he gave up four HRs in one game, which has never happened before.

    - Chris Taylor

The other night was the anniversary of his trade from Seattle. In one year he has batted around .300 with three Grand slams and played four different positions at a high level. This was one of the greatest steals of all-time.

    - Brock Stuart

Returned to the big club last night and helped McCarthy shut out the Mets. The Dodgers AAA team is filled with former Dodgers who can help out at any time. Stuart is an example of that.

It's hard to imagine Ethier, Adrian Gonzales, or Van Slyke getting their jobs back. Trades seem to be in order...
