I'm not so sure having Tony Joiner on the field increases the chance of UF winning. However, it may keep the score a little closer that it would be without him a SS.

 

Bill....who are you trying to kid?.....c'mon and give us a break....if you find others who swwallow this one....thats fine.

 

I'm not trying to kid anyone Gonzo but you continue to be an ass.

Two things, first if you read everything I posted with an open mind you couldn't make the statements you have.

Secondly you are done posting on this topic unless you have something constructive to offer. Any more posts of the cheap shot variety, and it's hard for one from you not to be a cheap shot, will be deleted.

Well gee Tailback tell me why I'm not surprised that you would agree with something negative!

I doubt seriously you bothered to read the articles I posted.

 

Well gee Bill, I would like to hear what those employee's have to say. Maybe they tried to stop him and he sped away? If this was a misunderstanding couldn't he have come back at a reasonable time of day to retrieve that car, Say 9 or 10 in the morning? Some thing stinks here. Just sayin'.

 

I think this topic has served it's useful shelf life.

I just posted it for full disclosure and let me review a bit.

Tony Joiner senior safety and former team captain for the Florida Gators apparently had a girl friend, or former girl friend in town for the Auburn game.

Towing illegally parked cars in Gainesville is a big business, especially during a game day. Any way the lady's car got towed.

Tony Joiner called the towing company and mde arrangements to get the car and pay $76 in towing fees.

Joiner went to the compound, yes about 4:30 in the morning, to complete the deal. When he couldn't find anyone there and the gate was unlocked he went in to get the car. An employee saw him blocked the gate with his car and called the police.

The police came and arrested Joiner.

The next day the owner/operator of the compound acknowledged that he had indeed talked to Joiner and made arrangements for him to get the car.

Same owner/operator also said it was a misunderstanding and no action should have been taken. He went on to say that in the past there have been numerous situations of the same nature and no one has ever been prosecuted so he didn't understand why any action should be taken in this case.

The State Attorney dropped the case with wording above, facts do not justify a criminal offense.

Meanwhile Urban Meyer removed Tony Joiner as a captain of the team but he will play, but not start against LSU.

Then we have Gonzo doing his Gonzo act and taking cheap shots, even manufacturing information.

And surprise of surpises Tailback come on to loudly hear what Gonzo had to say.

It's been so long since we've heard a positive comment from Tailback about anything that I don't remember when it was.

Regardless I think most reasonable people might wonder why someone was out at 4:30 in the morning but don't think a crime was committed.
