Last night in the 9th inning, the Dodgers had Bellinger in CF, Barnes behind the plate, and Treinen as the closer. If it goes to game 7, it will be Buehler vs. Morton. Uno mas...

    It's ovah...
After 32 years...so many times the Dodgers had the best team, but didn't win. Some times they were cheated and other times they cheated themselves, but this time...they over came everything to win it all. We even over came the virus. Turner was pulled off the field in the middle of the game when one of his tests came up positive, but it didn't even slow them down. Mookie Betts had a game like no player has had since Ty Cobb in 1908... Corey Seager won the MVP and placed himself at the top of the list of all-time Dodger shortstops... a list that includes Pee Wee Reese, Rabbit Maranville and Maury Wills. Julio Urias is now an official Mexican saint on the order of the great Fernando himself. He'll have a job in this town as long as you can see city hall from Dodger Stadium.

I feel like crying...my wife is crying...Magic Johnson is crying... What I feel most isn't even joy...it's relief.

LaRussa out of retirement to the White Sox, and Hinch out of jail to the Tigers.

I wonder if a member of the Hall of Fame either coached or played in a MLB game?

If the question is whether a player inducted in the HOF both played and managed, I thought Frank Robinson for a player-manager for Cleveland. As for players who were already inducted in the HOF before becoming a manager, off the top of my head I can think of Ted Williams, Ryan Sandberg, Paul Moliter, and Bob Lemon.Sure there are more.

Astros made a qualifying offer to George Springer but in a bit of a surprise didn't make one to Michael Brantley who has been a great addition to the team the last couple of years. Speculation will be around Springer of course, and it's not likely he'll accept that offer and want to at least test free agency.

Well two of the central figures in the Astros cheating scandal have been rehired. A J Hinch is the new manager of the Tigers and Alex Cora is going to be rehired at Boston. They were the only people involved other than Astros GM Jeff Luhnow, to receive any punishment.

Bieber and Bauer are your Cy Young winners, Bieber was unanimous, Bauer close to that.

Also Bauer said he's done with trolling the Astros! Said it's time to move on. :D

Trevor Bauer is a free agent....I hope he ends up with the Astros!! That would be the ultimate irony.

Tribe had the Cy Young winner and MVP runner-up. Not enough. Got 'em both back next year but gonna lose Lindor, Santana, and Hernandez...and probably Carrasco. Better find some young talent. Pitching should be ok.

Theo Epstein stepping down at Chicago, said he expects to be back in baseball sometime in the future just not next year.

Freddy Freeman is a deserving MVP. I have no problem with that.
