We were on our way to a restaurant and I noticed a man walking on the wrong side of the street, headed toward us. He looked like an illegal alien, probably a field worker, and he looked like he had been walking for miles. He was acting suspiciously, not looking at me as he crossed the street...on the wrong side. I locked the doors of my car and kept watching him. When he reached our car, he lunged for the passenger door and attempted to open it. His obvious plan was to yank Mrs. JO'Co out of the car, then use her to threaten me into giving the car to him. When the door didn't open, he tried to smash the glass with his hands, but I drove off, preventing him from doing anything further. The look on his face was murderous. I have no doubt that he would have killed us both to get the car. We called the police and reported what happened...

Who is this clown? I will literally tear him apart regardless of how murderous he looks.

What saved our lives were the observation skills that I learned being a night time taxi driver. I've never been in the military or law enforcement, but driving a cab 12 hours per night, six days per week, taught me a lot. I got that job when a driver was murdered, and the guy who replaced me was murdered. I was the guy in between. It was a dangerous job, but the lessons I learned were invaluable.

Have you contacted the police to have them lift the prints?

If he's what you suspect, his prints most likely wont be any data base. Now if you were a millennial, you would have taken out your phone, taken his picture and posted it on Facebook.

My wife had her phone, but she panicked and didn't take any photos, She also panicked during her report to the police and told them she was worried about children. There were no children there. This guy wanted our car and saw us as easy marks that he could kill or intimidate into getting it. I give up and the police don't understand what happened.

Is there any chance you can get a police sketch done?

I doubt if this thug is in any database. And even if you could identify him the local police would probably not cooperate with the feds in any way. What a world.

My mom got mugged by a black guy in Dayton, Ohio when she was 66. He punched her to the ground and took her cash and blood pressure meds. Nothing else. When she went to the police they brought out a big stack of mug shots for her to identify him with. After about 30 minutes she gave up and told them " they all look alike to me". I'm surprised they didn't charge her with racism.
