    Hell, Sid, I'm not mad at Jim. We're on the same team.. we just see this from different perspectives. Just to prove my admiration for JO'Co, I pledge here and now that the next time I'm in SoCal, I 'm stopping by the O'Conners and drinking his liquor cabinet dry. And then I'm giving Mrs. JO'Co a kiss on the cheek on my way out.

    Boo :D yah!

    The drinking part we've got down pat. We need to win some friggen games. An upset of those pukes from South Central would do wonders for my disposition...

    The O-Line..

    <t>Watcher I have become since game one we lose nothing with him gone. Sure you hate to waste the ride, time and effort on the kid but he was terrible on the field. Keep weeding them out till we find five who can play.</t>

    I hate to see him go for a number of reasons, first of which while he might not have been good this year he may have developed down the line into a good starter or a capable backup. Our OL has not had the opportunity to sit and get strong and work their way into the lineup.

    Plus as I mentioned in another topic, he won't be replaced by an experienced player from the JUCO ranks or a transfer, he'll be replaced by a true frosh who also won't be ready to play.

    Lastly I am concerned by the number of transfers and such from the program, I am concerned that it is the way Charlie handles the team/players. I am increasingly concerned that he has not adapted to handling teenagers from his lifetime of working with NFL players.

    <t>that was my point about the lack of proven senior leadership on this team. Lou use to protect those guys...allow them to mature, grow and find themselves in the university while teaching fundamentals for the first few years.<br/>
    <br/>
    We aren't afforded that luxory. We now have guys that were two years away from seeing the field, even under Davie, that are now making up our entire 2 and 3 deep rotation for PT at a position.<br/>
    <br/>
    That's just not right.</t>
