Boise State should NOT have been part of the equation for the championship game. Period. They get a nice pat on the head for a great season, and they get to play in a BCS bowl game. It's nice that they beat a very good OK team and gave the entire country a very nice feeling. Who knows? They might have beaten ND or MI in a bowl game, BUT until they go undefeated with a schedule similar to ND, MI, FL, OSU, USC, etc., they are not and will not and should not be be part of the NC discussion.

Given the results of the Rose Bowl and the NC game you have to say this year worked out about as well as any year except for last year with USC-Texas.

The SEC is 3-0 in BCS NC bowls now and you have to wonder about Auburn who at 13-0 a couple of years ago were left out of the equation.

I have to believe the War Eagles would have been more than competitive in the NC game that year.

Auburn was stuffed coming and going by USC, just as Arkansas was this year and last...

I'm referring to the year that Auburn was 13-0 and left out.
