Ralph, for a small price, I promise not to send the above post to your wife. A crate of florida oranges should suffice.

Well dammit my fancy TV set took a crap on me and I'm using a bedroom backup and it's only 46", what will I do.... :D

Yep, yep, yep....My talk to me TV went nuts ( probably didn't talk to it enough) and it seems it needs a replacement part that is cough, cough (scuze me) $600+...With labor...

So I am scouring the latest jargon and info on what a TV is in 2016, it's like cramming for a test knowing damn well I will forget the information once I plug in the new TV...

It seems that my estimated expense is going to be higher than expected (Amazing :p ) and that I did not have a quality TV as the newer ones are light years ahead of my boat anchor...

Would someone come to your place and fix the TV or would you have to take it in to some shop? That sucker should have lasted a lot longer than 4 yrs.

I brought it to a shop we actually trust way back in January and they have been searching for the part, it seems that like everything else we buy TV'S are throw away and quite difficult to find parts...

So after what 2-3 months the repair shop found the part but it's literally 1/2 the price of a very nice NEW TV set....

So I am shopping again...This is the second Samsung that has died an early death on me, the repair shop says buy LG as we will have a longer relationship with our TV set...
