George, I agree it was a bad call...maybe not as terrible as everyone thinks because it was in real time, and the ref didn't have the line right down the sideling like the slow mo replay did...with review we are now harder on those kinds of errors than before, but that one was not reviewable...had to be purely a first look judgement call. We'll take the win...the Browns defense played really well and Pennington had a terrible day against them. He and the Jets handled that call with a lot of class. And don't forget that the play didn't necessarily cost them the game...it cost them the chance to take it into overtime.
