A great coach has passed away

    Chances are, unless you're an ND alum or fencing junkie, you're never heard of Mike DeCicco. He was the fencing coach at ND for 35 years. He also was in charge of making sure that all the athletes as ND kept up with their grades. Here is a short summary of his coaching achievements.

    You are right I had never heard of him, but all that proves is there are a lot of impressive people I may never have heard of.

    He is impressive, RIP.

    RIP by far one of the greatest coaches, if not THE greatest, in the history of ND athletics.
