AJ great picture, what's the bag limit on cocks in Nebraska per day (This just sounds wrong asking questions like this)...I'm taking my son on the 28th to shoot pen raised pheasant (chemical rep invited us), something I have never done before. I have hunted lots of quail but pheasant is pretty exotic around these parts...

I do have a few fat peacocks I keep at the farm but all they chase is the corn I feed them...

Corey you just let me know when your ready to give it a shot, on private land wildhogs are legal to hunt and kill by the landowner. I manage 2,600 acres that at times crawls with hogs. If that doesn't work a good friend of mine has the lease on 12,000 acres that has one too many hog on the property...It's hard to describe the financial damage wild hogs cause to property, they are a menace and breed like rabbits.

History lesson: Hernando Desoto brought the first hog to the New World when he visited Florida about 25 miles West of the farm I manage (Port Charlotte area). He also brought the first horse to the Americas when he accidently lost his hogs. The horses ran wild for 100 years in the Sunshine State and eventually worked their way into our country. Hernando Desoto was not so lucky, he was wounded and died from the Calusa indians and is buried in Puerto Rico.

    Let me know....

Usually not a bag limit on pheasant farms...at least in Ohio.

    RC,

Where's the land? I might be able to work that. I am constantly getting asked to go down to Bliss' family's 'beach house' down in FL. It's this massive palace of a building in St. Augustine.

I grew up on sun, fun, beaches and girls in bikinis. That'll be there when I get back.. I'm all about getting into bow hunting some wild hogs.

    Corey,

It's located 26 miles East of Punta Gorda. A small town 20 miles North of Ft. Myers (The area Hernando Desoto arrived to have brunch with the Calusa indians)......95% of the residents of Florida have no idea there is land East of I-75 and West of I-95 because most have not lived here longer than five years and think South Beach is the capitol of the Sunshine State.

It's quite a trip away from St. Augustine but I'm sure we could work out some way to stick an arrow in a wild porker if we try hard enough...

I am fairly certain there's some time or place in Orlando I could crash so that should be somewhere in between the two spots..
