The Tennessee defense stuffs the Bama run to force a 3rd down pass and then applies the blitz and an incompletion to force the three and out on the first series. That pretty much follows the plan I expected from Monte. I won't be giving a complete play by play but had to post the defensive play on the first Bama possession.

Cindy has been called away on a medical issue in Jarrell. We are 20 miles away from there and they still haven't found anyone to take her place. I'm recording the game. Let's win one for the... I'll just say Cindy!

Not ready to throw him under the bus yet but Crompton is not on the same game as he was against Georgia. Hope things change.

4 minutes left in the first half and not only is Bama up 6 - 3, but Bama is dominating the line of scrimmage. Tennessee defense must stiffen. Tennessee offense must wake up.

I think Tennessee got away with a PI non-call on the last Bama drive. I think it wasn't called because it appeared that the Tennessee defender, Rogan, stepped up going after the ball. Anyway, Bama goes up 9 to 3 with Tennessee having one last drive in the half.

Missed field goal, 9 - 3 at halftime.

Hey Tennessee hit longer field goals than that to beat the Gators a number of times.

Doesn't sound like Alabama QB McElroy has found his groove.

In the first couple of games McElroy looked very good and add in the running game and I figured Bama was very strong on offense, but he (McElroy) seems to be regressing not a good sign for the Tide.

Thanks for the support Kp.......and welcome back.

l This one looks like the tussle we all knew it would be.

That kick came very close to making it a 3 point game.

Should be a great second half.

The first down for Bama broke our back. We needed a safety to get back into the game. Not to be.

Congrats KP and Bryan. Bama was the better team today.

Well you spoke to soon Tom. A fumble recovery, a touchdown and now an onside kick to see if Tennessee can do it.

12 - 10. Missed field goals the difference as of now.

Wow, Tennessee got the onside kick on their own 40. 1:16 to go.

We scared the Elephant Snot out of the #1 team in the nation. This is the second time we have played the #1 team this year. Lincoln has a chance to redeem himself. Can he make it???

Oh my gosh what a finish.

Two blocked kicks by Alabama and they win.

Three missed field goals with two blocked. I will support Kiffin going for it on 4th down and never attempting a field goal again. Coach, find someone that can kick it over the line of scrimmage.

Again, Congrats to KP and Bryan.

Tom, the better team did not win today. It seems your kicker kicks the ball low, I thought he would make that last one.

Tennessee has come a long way this season.

KP, good win for Alabama. Sometimes the special seasons occur when you manage to win the games when you are not at your best. Alabama this week and Florida last week did that.

Let's see how the Gators do tonight.

Tough loss and nobody knows better than me that there are no moral victories in football.

I popped in and out during ND timeouts and looked like a rock'em sock'em game. Two excellent defenses going at it hammer and tong.

Congrats to 'Bama and their Skybox fans...hope KP is back from lurking! :)
