I wonder if Kilfin might be wondering if he should have waited a bit longero_O?

I think Kiffin will regret this move…well maybe not. He’ll be fired in a few years and walk away with 10s of millions in buyout bucks, but I think LSU is a dumpster fire.

Moore should have read Saban’s book:

I had a case against Jimmy Hoffa’s son and recall a moving opinion article written by him concerning his reaction to reading and hearing jokes about where his father was buried. So, I do pause a bit when joking about Moore’s conduct and feel badly for his wife and kids. But, the temptation to lampoon this buffoon is hard to resist at the moment.

I'm struggling mightily as well. The good side of me suggests I give grace to an obviously deeply troubled man and prayers for the well-being of his wife and children. That said, I think under the circumstances, even the Good Lord himself would allow me an occasional snicker.....

Didn't know Texas Tech had 2 finalist for the Lombardi Award. I wonder if that has ever happened before? Jacob Rodriguez, the LB with BlackHwak flying West Point grad girlfriend, won.

Apparently DeBoer is the leading candidate for the Michigan job.

Kp, what are your feelings at the moment? If he is genuinely interested, then whom would you favor as a replacement?

I just don't get why he would leave Alabama. Couldn't be for money. Couldn't be for better facilities. Couldn't be for better recruiting.

    He's not a UM alum.

No one here has even mentioned it. I can’t see why he would move either but in the current situation there is so much money flying around and buy outs can set you up for life.

Good interview with John Bacon who has written several books about UM football and who taught at the university. He provides a concise summary of the Moore scandal.

Part 2 of interview. Bacon recently wrote a best selling book about the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald so I suspect his next book will be concerned with M’s capsizing athletic department.

I guess the question is what happened between when they both told HR they were cool and her marching into the Michigan offices and nailing his butt to the door.

That is a good question as her meeting with Michigan officials took place only a day or two before the firing. She told police that Moore has stalking her for months but she was apparently working as his executive assistant at least through the OSU game.

So the rumor about the doorddash driver tipping off the school after delivering a plan B order to Moore's office turned out to be not true?

The list of condidates for the UM job is pretty impressive if these guys are genuine candidates.

    DeBoer - Alabama
    Fisch-Washington
    Dillingham - ASU
    Brohm - Louisville

Corey, I don’t know. Apparently the affair was a much discussed topic in the football program but when the university investigated it, both denied it and I don’t think M hired private investigators to test the veracity of their denials or found any conclusive proof in their investigation. Supposedly she later supplied the proof via text messages and emails and he was shitcanned.

Terry, Our AD is not known for quick and decisive action. I would be surprised if they had plans in storage for a successor to Moore.
