This game is far from over, UM has definitely played better this half and their defense on that last OU drive in the redzone was risky but very effective.
Well 70-0 was a barn burner today for me!! lol Luckily I was treated to the battle of the bands! Don’t feel bad, Grambling walked out with their 1.2 million smiling lol
Announcers never mentioned it but I think Purdue never had to punt nor failed to make a 4th down conversion until last drive of the game. Ok, ok Browne had one interception. No fumbles though. Basically scored almost every time we had the ball. Schedule gets tougher now.
15 play game clinching drive ends in a FG and OU up 24-13, UM no timeouts and down 2 scores, no chance. UM has a good defense, and Underwood will get his feet underneath him as the season goes on
The biggest improvement will need to be made in the offensive line. They were pushed around all night. Oklahoma was by far the better team tonight. But, the Brewers won and the Cubs lost so not a horrible Saturday.
and not David Shaw either who kept Stanford competitive for several years after Harbaugh left. Moore is a solid line coach but right now the coach that is keeping the boat from capsizing is Martindale.
Our practice game with Grambling yesterday only cost us one million dollars. However, it did allow us to introduce some freshman players and second team members to gain some more game experience. Sayling completed his first 16 passes and looked much more comfortable in role as QB. Our next opponent next week Ohio University had a good game vs West Virginia yesterday and we might be in for a pretty good matchup on Peacock Saturday evening here at the Shoe.

This is the first time since the end of the 2001 regular season — when Illinois was No. 7 after winning the Big Ten Championship — that the Illini have cracked the top-10 of the AP Top 25. This is just the second time since 1991 that Illinois has been ranked inside the top-10.
Well Alabama moved up to #19. Not a problem. As of the poll today, we play #6, #25, #15, #11, #3, #13, and #24. We lost to #10. These numbers will obviously change but we can probably only afford to lose one more game to make the playoffs.
