Vandy not tapping out, drove 75 yds for the score at the end of the half. 24-10 Texas. Vandy gets the ball to start the 2nd half.
Buckeye up 17-14, thanks to a fumble on our part late 2nd quarter. Our lnability in the run game is hurting us!
Halftime. Score close but PSU got a big break. Gotta play clean. I’m losing most of my picks in the contest right now.
Third quarter, we have come alive and looking good. We now have some seperation and I think we will be Ok! LIttle Lou
Longhorns pretty much in control 31-10 late 3rd and driving. Arch having a very good game. Defense is just suffocating Pavia.
Vandy scores and it's 34-16. Game is getting more than a little chippy. I won't be surprised if we have a fight before it's over.
Vandy, not quitters...34-24 and almost 4 minutes to go. Texas needs a drive to put these guys away finally!!
Buckeyes win 38-14 at home vs Nittany Lions. We looked much better in the second half. Sort of glad to get by this one. Sayin continues to impress me!
The Texas game is a comedy of refs/penalties . Adding a lot of time to the game. Looks like Miami is having all it can handle in Dallas with SMU, leading by 3 with less than 3 to go. Houston stay in the top 25 won't be long with West Virginia up 10 late 4th qtr here in Houston.
Well Vandy scored again and it's 34-31, 21 unanswered points by Vandy...unbelievable collapse by the Texas D. Now comes down to the onside kick, and there is only 33 seconds left. Longhorns get the onside kick, just barely because they muffed it early and Vandy had a shot but couldn't get it before it went out of bounds. Longhorns escape 34-31
SMU pulls off the upset of Miami in OT. Carson Beck thows a pick in OT and all SMU had to do was kick a FG to win, but they went ahead and scored a TD. Duke takes down Clemson 46-45. They eschewed the xp point kick to tie and went for 2 and made it. Clemson falls to 3-5. They've lost back to back games to SMU and Duke a couple of teams that in Dabo's prime he'd have beaten by 30 points. I seriously don't think Dabo is going to be fired or retire. But I won't be surprised if there is a major shakeup in his staff.
Michigan grinds out a 21-16 victory against Purdue who looked to be the better coached and more creative team offensively. Underwood seems to be regressing as the season goes on although our receivers and predictable play calling might be the reason for that. Kudos to Purdue who definitely came to AA prepared and unintimidated.
Vandy, Ga.Tech, Miami and Tenn all lost today. I was pretty shocked that the Vols lost at home. I did think Texas would win but a bit shocked at Tech and Miami. Rankings will be interesting when released Tues Night. I imagine the top 7will pretty much match this weeks AP top 7. 8-12 will be interesting.
Thanks Bob and congrats. Playing guest in the Big House is no picnic. I was proud of the guys. Getting a little better each week. If we could just get rid of the little mistakes that always kill ya. Michigan has a lot of injuries to key players right now. Marshall is a phenom and you can ride him a long way. Reminds me a little of Mike Alstott except faster.
Not that anyone cares but I have a good feeling about Purdue's coach. I believe he'll improve the program, just not the way Cignetti has with IU. I hope the powers that be give him a reasonable amount of time.
Guess who we play next Saturday and at Purdue. They have a history of playing us tough and it always seems to be a close game. Stu is probaly licking his chops
