I just noticed that the Oregon stadium was pretty empty at the end of the game. This was a close one, I wonder when they left?

I am shocked at how good IU is this year after being shocked at how good they were last year. I guess we have to give it to Cignetti, the guy can coach. Looking at their schedule, they have a shot at an undefeated season.

Texas beat OU 23-6 a much needed win for the Longhorns. I didn't watch but looking at the stats it's clear Arch was efficient, but not dominant and the defense was the star of the game for Texas. Mateer was forced into 3 picks. I'm sure his early return from hand surgery was part of his problem though.

Great win for the Hoosiers today at Oregon. They looked excellent today both offense and defense!

They shredded UM on that drive. UM has a good defense. I don't think USC does though so this could be a shoot out.

In sad news, Drew Allar was injured in the PSU loss today and is done.

Penn State quarterback Drew Allar is out for the season after suffering an injury late in his team's 22-21 loss to Northwestern, coach James Franklin announced after the game. Allar took a hard hit on a fourth-quarter scramble and had to be helped off the field by the training staff.

I'm not so sure it was an upset, but it's too soon to consider it otherwise. A lot of games left to be played.

Indiana was a 7 1/2 point underdog and I thought ( and unfortunately wagered) they were going to be ambushed at Autsen which is a snakepit for visiting teams. Man was I off the mark. Hoosiers will be a playoff team even if they drop a game during the regular season.

Georgia is down 10-0 to Auburn. The Dawgs have shown no offense.

Yeah Auburn looks like top 10. And Georgia doesn’t.

Announcers on the USC/UM halftime suggested that Franklin might not finish the season. Hard to imagine going from a Playoff team in 2024 to a top 5 team expected this year and now negotiating a buyout.

Kyle, I know they were an underdog re: the spread. My statement was a subjective fanboy comment. Objectively you are correct. :)

Re: IU's defense which smothered Oregon: Pat Kuntz, former ND DL from Indianapolis Roncalli, is IU's DL coach.

Terry’s prediction of a traditional Rose Bowl result for Michigan when it plays USC in California is prophetic.

I retract my former comment about Michigan playing like a playoff team and amend it to a Citrus Bowl contender.

But, if the Brewers win it’s Super Bowl tonight, I’ll hit the pillow with a smile.
