Gutsy call on 4th and goal by the Tide, and they score. now it's a 2 score game. I guess the thinking about not kicking the FG, is that 6 point lead means a FG can't beat you or send it to OT, but a TD makes it nearly impossible while if they had missed it they would have forced a 97 yd drive on Mizzo to get a score to win and if they kick a FG then it's OT. I imagine that analytics said go for it.
No quit in Missouri, they take the KO and drive the field for a TD it's 27-24. only took 1:30 and there is about thet amount of time for Alabama. Do they onside kick or hope they can force a punt?
Another big upset is going on at FSU where Pitt is ahead 34-24 with under 3 minutes to play. Things have really gone south for FSU after that huge upset of Alabama.
I don't think there is any doubt that top to bottom the SEC is the best conference. I do think that Ohio State though has as good a program as any SEC team
I see that IU is giving Oregon a battle and it's 13-10 IU at the half. Texas and OU is a defensive battle I guess as neither team has TD, Arch has 69yds passing, and Mateer has thrown 2 picks. 6-3 OU at the half.
Saban can KMA. Yeah the SEC is better top to bottom but it ain’t THAT much different. Those 5 Big 10 teams and a couple of others can play with anybody. IMO.
I would agree that at the top the Big 10 with Ohio State, MIchigan,Penn State, and now IU apparently and Oregon is pretty even with the SEC, but as we go down the roster of teams the differences start to show up.
