As you would expect given the match ups the ND and Miami wins were the difference so far.

Picks for week 2 are available. All 23 games will be played on Saturday. Some interesting games as Terry has already pointed out in his post.

At some point between 2004-2019, the results of the M-OSU match up taught me that acknowledging reality is a good thing.

We are experiencing some wide number of picks each week. I did not expect that when I choose the Top 25 games opposed to the Yahoo Standard Picks of 25 games.

Standard picks are more challenging as Yahoo will include a fair share of games between evenly matched teams. Top 25 is easier to choose early in the season as most of the top 25 teams have relatively easy non conference schedules although the directional schools from Illinois can really muck up a Goliath’s day. Once the conference schedule starts, the Top 25 games will be more challenging but the Standard picks will still be
    more difficult.

Aha! I see what you're doing there. Thank you for referring to ND, however indirectly, as a Goliath. Now a fallen Goliath, but a Goliath for a week.

Appreciate your input Bobda and what you are saying makes sense. I do not think this is a major concern, since we all are playing by the same rules. However, I think I will go back to the standard Yahoo picks next season.
