Really scratching my head over refs in Md UConn game late in the game. Calling Ticky tac stuff on Maryland and letting UConn mug at will. Now they’re at the intentional foul stage.

Virginia continues its feast or famine path. 2018-was the first #1 seed to lose to a #16 seed; 2019-national champions; 2021-knocked out in the 1st round again by #13 seed Ohio. They came into the tourney under a severe handicap having to leave the ACC tourney because of a Covid outbreak and have not practiced as a team since then until today.

Sad to report that E.J. Liddell has been receiving nasty comments on social media about his missed foul shots and late turnovers in the loss to Oral Roberts. Police are supposedly looking into the matter. Bad enough how he felt after the loss and now this too.

The whole team got a little sloppy. And Liddell was a big reason we got there in the first place.

Abilene Christian with the late evening shocker taking down Texas. Unfriggen believable. 18 baskets and 22 turnovers for the LH.

With Oral Roberts and Abilene Christian winning, I wonder if the mysterious hand of Providence is just having some fun busting brackets.

Pretty tight contest after 1st round. Stu holds the lead with 24 correct picks, Don, Me, Sid and Michael right behind him with 23.

I'll be dropping like a stone...took OSU all the way. Lots of red in the future. My possible points are way low. I do have 7 of elite 8 still in...but only 10 of the Sweet 16.

My first Final Four team goes down. I sense it won’t be the last.

Big Ten is not looking all that great at the moment. Loyola is not done yet, a very solid team that can play good defense.

Bucky’s having big trouble handing Baylor’s defensive pressure and speed.
