Even Barry Switzer didn't have balls that big.

    This article explains it:
NCAA bans Memphis' Wiseman; judge issues stay

"Memphis said in a statement Friday that Penny Hardaway, before he was the Tigers' coach, provided $11,500 in moving expenses to aid the Wiseman family's move to Memphis, Tennessee, without the player's knowledge. The NCAA deemed that Hardaway, a Memphis alum, was a booster at the time, according to Wiseman's attorney, Leslie Ballin."

Hey, didn't the NCAA say that Cam Newton's dad could get money if Cam didn't know about it?

Well we got that good luck and some good play and got a road win over a ranked Purdue team. Big boost for the Longhorns. I wonder how big it was to have an assistant coach who was in the Big 10 last year and knows the Boilermakers.

Buckeyes take down Nova 76-51 in the Gavitt games in Columbus this evening. We were listed as a three point favorite. I think Coach Holtmann has the makings of an excellent tournament team come March.

Ohio State will play Stetson this evening here at home. Looks like Andre Wesson may get back in the rotation per the paper this morning. He fractured his eye socket a couple weeks ago. We do need him for his defense and leadership.

Pretty big upset this weekend, Evansville beat Kentucky. But unlike football it doesn't really mean all that much in the long run. Kentucky is still one of the best teams and likely to be a high seed in the NCAA tournament.

Ohio State now ranked # 10 in the AP Poll. Three Big Ten teams in the top 10. Buckeyes ripped Stetson last night 86-51

Memphis will get their super stud freshman this year if he sits out the next 11 games.

Gators off to a slow start but have done well in the Charleston Classic and play Xavier tonight for the Championship.

We have a pretty good team that hasn't jelled to this point but seem to be doing better in this tournament.

Well the Gators almost blew it but hung on against Xavier.

I don't know how many of you watched that game but the Gators had as much as a 17 point lead in the second half and were still ahead by double digits when Xavier went into a full court press that I don't remember how much time was left. But the Gators struggled badly turning the ball over several times and with about 30 seconds left Xavier attempted a makable 3 point shot with less than 30 seconds left that missed, Blackshear got the rebound and was fouled. He made both and we won.

Bet they work on how to handle the press this week. :)

I watched a little bit of the Michigan NC game early. Checked back in the second half and Michigan had a 24 point lead. Michigan ends up with a big upset even with two key players n the bench due to fouls. With Duke being upset and now North Carolina, there will be a bib shakeup in the rankings come Monday.

Michigan destroys Zags this afternoon. I would venture to say they will be ranked come Monday! Simpson had a superb game today! Wolverines three point shooting and defense were the difference today!

Is it possible that Juwan Howard might, even though he has no experience, be a pretty good coach for Michigan?

I was thinking the same thing as I watched that game. He is up on his feet most of the time and really cheering his team as they play.
