2018 Yahoo College Football Pick'em Contest

JOCO is like the mad hatter. He just sits there quietly dodging the criticism, avoiding the glitz while grinding out wins.

 

I am gradually and quietly sneaking up the ladder.

I figure in 10 more weeks or so I will take over first place...oh, wait a minute... :shock:

I see there will be a final week for the contest. 16 games! Including the Va.Tech vs Marshall game that was just scheduled recently to give Va.Tech (5-6) another chance to get that 6th win for a bowl bid.

 

Yes, this will be the final week of the contest. A tight race between Jim, Cindy and Tom.

 

Two Friday night games this week!

 

Stu Ryckman (Stu's Cat) wins the final week of the contest with a score of 135 points. Congratulations Stu!

JO'Co wins the contest with a score of 3265 points. Tennesse Tom finishes second with 3264, and Lady Volunteer third with 3259 points. Bear Down Rick was 4th with 3252 points.

my W-L record was tops, but my point allocation left a lot to be desired.

 

Thanks for running this thing of ours Don. A last minute switch on the Boise St / Fresno St game cost me the week and the season... Always remember: Changing horses in the middle of the stream is usually not too productive. 8)

After all these years I finally won? I believe this is the first year that I ever finished ahead of Cindy too. Wow! As they say in baseball, "I'd rather be lucky than good."
