Getting the feeling that the Big Ten is a little miffed they didn't get a team in the playoffs.

What is it about the Holidays that causes people to lose their minds?

Stu, very true but they they only had one loss to a top ranked team. They didn't lose to Whatsamatter U. By 30 pts. I wonder who else could say that?

I got the feeling watching Sparty against WSU that they really had a chip on their shoulder. Was it just me or were they REALLY hitting hard in that game?

OSU should have replaced Oklahoma with Mercer on their non conference schedule....

kp very true. But somebody only played one ranked team. Iowa isn’t the Whatsamata U that some teams schedule. Whatever. You’ll get your chance to play some competition now. We won the conference that is 7-0 in bowl games. I’ll take that.

Of course I am biased as I dislike both the B1G and the SEC, but watching the Ohio State offense I do not think they would have a chance against Clemson, might have been another shutout. That's the USC defense that even the Irish put up 49 on

Stu, you have to go back and see what I said about Alabama after our only loss to Auburn. We did not play well enough to be in the playoffs. I actually think that Wisconsin should have been in, not Alabama and also not a 2 loss team. I try to stay objective and consistent. I said from the beginning that I did not believe a 2 loss team should be in. I would have applied that standard to Alabama as well if it applied.

I don’t think I ever said we belonged in instead of Bama. I just react to those justifying the decision by knocking down what we accomplished.

We won the toughest division in the conference and the best conference top to bottom IMO. How should Wiscy get the nod over us? Doesn’t matter I guess.

Stu, I wasn’t knocking anyone accomplishments. I was just pointing out why I thought they weren’t selected.

That’s fair. But Wiscy wouldn’t have a better argument than us. IMO.
