I see that there was a near fight in the pregame event for Michigan vs South Carolina.

Announcers last night said there was some chippieness in the pre-game between Texas and Missouri players.

Who says players don't care about these meaningless games! :)

I see that some Missouri players blamed Josh Heuple and the OL coach for bailing on them before the bowl game. Wah wah wah.

It's being reported that the Citrus bowl will be Matt Canada's last as OCoord for LSU. Steve Ensminger who was the interim last year is to move up.

LOL... I didn't see it but apparently Tom Herman sort of mocked Drew Lock's TD dance at the end of the game. This win is going to seal it for a great recruiting class in Feb. Herman does need to fix the offense though, many Texas fans don't like Tim Beck and are disappointed he isn't likely to be fired. We'll see, I'm thinking by year 3 Herman is going to have Texas back in the top 10.

    Err...
Maybe that's OK with you Terry, but I would be hot if my coach behaved like that.

Yeah I get it, we'd all like our coach to be "dignified". But I don't think that's Tom Herman. He got into it with local Houston sportswriters and his wife was pretty active defending him on Twitter as well if they thought somebody was writing untrue stuff. He even called in to a local sports talk show were A&M alumni, John Lopez, accused him of tampering with Kyle Allen, they got into a big argument on the air.

But as I said earlier it was apparently a pretty chippy pre-game with Missouri players taunting Texas players with the horns down, not esp a classy move and it came back to bite them in the game.

Just win baby and a lot of things will be tolerated! Charlie Strong was dignified and classy, but he didn't win.

You can't hate on Jose Aguafresco and then like what Texas' head coach did last night. At least Joey Freshwater is funny.

The academies showed up and showed out for these bowl games!

Who's Jose Aguafresco? Jeez you guys acting like he shot somebody. It was a chippy week with Missouri taking shots at the Longhorns all week...might have been better to go out and beat Texas and then take your shots, no? But that said I'd have just as soon he didn't do that, but he's an emotional coach who is pretty chippy, he was chippy at Houston and he's still chippy. He'll get away with it if he can win and back it up with his teams play on the field. Charlie Strong exuded class, he'd didn't last though.

BTW anybody watch the Stanford/TCU game? TCU came out to play in the 2nd half and just clocked Stanford. Kenny Hill looked like an AA, their OL looked like the best in the country. The Stanford D was gassed at the end. Frogs rally from 18 points down to win by 2. I thought they'd blown it when they had to kick a FG and only lead by 2 points. But Gary Patterson is known for defense so it was fitting that the game ended for all purposes when the Stanford QB threw the pick.

    Big12 rocks! :)

Hey Herman is new to the big time. No one paid attention before. He'll learn or he will have to live with the scrutiny. 8)

You are right kp, he's going to have learn to live with and it'll be easier if he wins a lot, if not it'll be his downfall. Today's Houston Chronicle has an article on him and the writer takes him to task for his behavior. He's no Bo Pellini though! :)

Not by any means is he a Pellini. Saban is an asshole to reporters but he is very diplomatic and respectful of opponents. Saban can be an asshole but he is our asshole. Herman is yours.

    Yeesh!
In a 4 play span Christian Kirk goes out hurt, Traveon Williams goes out hurt, Starkel hit as throws for INT, then LB Dodson goes out hurt.

Wake wins, Ags might have gotten jobbed with the no call on the long pass late. Players on both sides were dropping like flies in the 2nd half.

    MEH!
A fitting end to this shitty season.

If I have ONE thing to call a do-over on it's not the last non-call.

It would be 3rd and one when we'd just taken the lead and were driving for a possible back-breaking TD... and Mazzone puts in Mond at QB.
And he promptly hands off into the blitz for a loss and a punt.

First... why put him in at all? Starkel was HOT.
Second... if you're gonna put in your running QB, why just have him hand off?
    WTF?
    Good riddance idiot.
    :x
