I've seen arsehole coaches like that all of my life and I played for a few of them in the old days. If I had a time machine, I would go back there and humiliate all of them in front of the whole world. Abusing kids emotionally or physically is not coaching or teaching. Its just ferocious incompetence masquerading as leadership.

 

If those coaches still have a job I'd be surprised.

 

I didn't watch much beyond that dude slapping and yelling at all his players. Who is he and why did he allow that to be filmed? It's horrible that a coach would do something like that, the scary part is the kids just standing there taking it though.

 

I heard about this documentary but had never seen any of it before.

Yes he was a Gator and was thrown off the team. He got in trouble several times and when Urban Meyer took over he never allowed him back on the team. He transferred somewhere but I don't remember where. He had talent written all over him but he didn't handle his personal life right.
