Mets clinched a couple of days ago, and now the Yankees. Could it be another Subway series? Detroit is in a a dog fight with Minn, and the Dodgers and Padres are duking it out in the west. Only the Cards have been on cruise control all year. Maybe they are well rested and have been just waiting for the right time to turn it back up a notch. Terry
Thanks, Rick. Two weird things happened this year that could not have been predicted.... the injuries to the Red Sox that crippled them and the injuries to the Yankees that revealed 5-6 young players who absolutely carried the team for three months. I look for Boston to make wholesale changes in the off season and be back in 2007 as strong as ever.
